Can I Use My Smartphone to Pay for a Commercial Truck Toll?

The Oklahoma Toll Highway Authority recently announced the launch of PlusPass, a new phone application that allows users to pay tolls. E-470 is an ideal route for commercial vehicles looking to avoid congested roads. This route offers discounts for vehicles with more than three axles, fleet management options, and a safe and reliable road. To get started, customers can log in to their account or call the ExpressStoll Service Center at (30) 537-3470 or (88) 946-3470 to request a new transponder.

Adding additional vehicles to the account is free of charge. PlusPass is a multi-protocol toll transponder that can be used on a smartphone, eliminating the need for typical single-system toll tags that are placed on the windshield. This system also makes it possible for one user account to pay the tolls of several vehicles owned or leased by the same household or company, reducing administration for both the toll operator and the road user. ExpressStoll customers benefit from the lowest toll rates at every toll center in Colorado, automatic payment of tolls through their prepaid account, easy online account management, and access to local offers and discounts through the ExpressStoll Rewards program.

There are also several mobile apps available that allow drivers to manage their toll accounts and pay for tolls directly from their smartphone.
